Job summary

Reed is seeking a motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to join its residential property team based in Leamington Spa. This role offers exposure to a broad range of residential conveyancing matters within a busy, supportive law firm known for its local reputation and consistent workflow.

You will work alongside experienced solicitors and fee earners in a collaborative environment encouraging progression and long-term career development in property law.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners with a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions.
• Handle sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and new build matters.
• Manage files from instruction through to completion with supervision.
• Draft contracts, raise enquiries and respond to replies.
• Carry out searches, land registry applications and SDLT submissions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties to ensure smooth transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners with a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
• Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and new build matters
• Managing files from instruction through to completion with appropriate supervision
• Drafting contracts, raising enquiries and dealing with replies
• Carrying out searches, land registry applications and SDLT submissions
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties to ensure smooth transactions
• Providing a high level of client care and regular updates

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant
• Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in property law
