Clayton Legal is representing a highly reputable Shropshire law firm seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to support an experienced fee earner from instruction to completion. The role covers residential transactions, deadlines, and client liaison with estate agents and lenders. The right candidate will work independently, cover when needed, and maintain high service standards in a busy team.

Office-based, full-time with a clear path to responsibility and professional development in conveyancing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancing assistant or Paralegal is essential.
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
• Confident managing matters independently and taking responsibility for progressing files.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Progressing matters efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Preparing legal documentation, raising and responding to enquiries, and liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders.
• Providing day-to-day support to an experienced fee earner and confidently covering their caseload during periods of absence.
• Maintaining excellent client communication and delivering a high standard of service.
• Ensuring matters are handled in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Shropshire
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly reputable law firm in Shropshire within its established and busy Residential Conveyancing team.

I’m looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal who can support an experienced fee earner with a varied caseload from instruction through to completion. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and would be able to cover fee earner responsibilities when required, ensuring a seamless service for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Progressing matters efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met.
