Job summary

Flint Bishop in Leeds is seeking a Conveyancing Fee Earner to manage a personal caseload of buying, selling and remortgaging in a busy residential conveyancing team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Leeds with opportunities to support our Sheffield and York offices as needed.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, deliver excellent client service and progress cases efficiently within office procedures, while maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• You will have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role.
• You will provide exceptional client service and go above and beyond expectations.
• You will enjoy working in a team and thrive in a busy environment.
• You will have strong personal organisation skills.
• You are computer and IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Run your own caseload including buying, selling and remortgaging residential properties.
• Meet clients and take detailed instructions.
• Give clear, basic advice on conveyancing matters.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Open and maintain files in line with office procedures.
• Confirm instructions and advice to clients in writing.
• Conduct negotiations with other parties.
• Manage your caseload to progress, close and bill appropriately.
• Refer matters to senior team members as needed.
• Undertake training and development.
• Record all time spent and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Perform any other tasks as required by Head of Residential Conveyancing.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Residential Conveyancing team in the North offices as a Conveyancing Fee Earner. We are looking to make several appointments and have multiple positions available in our Sheffield, Leeds & York offices, supporting our clients through sales, purchases and re-mortgages of residential property.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the roles are onsite working in one of our offices and are full time, permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Running your own case load consisting of buying, selling and re-mortgaging residential properties
• Meeting clients and taking detailed instructions
• Giving basic, clear advice on all aspects of conveyancing
• Maintaining client confidentiality at all times
• Opening and maintaining files in accordance with office procedures
• Confirming instructions and advice to clients in writing
• Conducting negotiations with other parties
• Managing your case load to ensure that cases are progressed, closed and billed as appropriate
• Referring matters to other senior members of the team as appropriate
• Undertaking training and developing
• Ensuring that all time spent is recorded
• Ensuring adherence to GDPR regulations at all times
• Any other tasks as required by the Head of Residential Conveyancing
