Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its Axminster-based Residential Property team. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through post-completion, handling sales, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold matters.

This hybrid role offers up to £60,000 DOE, workplace pension, on-site parking and clear opportunities for career progression within a supportive firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in Residential Conveyancing required.
• Qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3+ years managing their own caseload preferred.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through post-completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold matters.
• Work collaboratively with Director and support team while guiding junior colleagues where appropriate.

The Role

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, handling matters including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Shared ownership transactions
• Leasehold property matters

No new-build conveyancing is involved.

You'll work closely with an experienced Director and dedicated support team, with the autonomy to run your files while providing guidance to junior colleagues where appropriate.

About You

Applications are welcomed from:

• Qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3+ years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing
• Experienced unqualified Conveyancers or Conveyancing Fee Earners with 3+ years managing their own caseload

Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
