Job summary

QED Legal in Brighton is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Executive to join its residential property team. You will manage your own caseload from instruction to completion, gaining exposure to a broad range of residential property matters and the full conveyancing lifecycle.

You will work with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties, handling sales and purchases, enquiries, contracts and post‑completion work while enjoying hybrid working and a supportive firm with genuine

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ fee-earning residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and confidence managing your own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Work across the full conveyancing lifecycle including sales and purchases.
• Deal with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Progress transactions and resolve issues along the way.
• Handle enquiries, review contracts and legal documentation, liaise with mortgage lenders and other professionals.
• Coordinate exchange and completion and post-completion work.
