Job summary

Elite Law Solicitors in Brighton is seeking a Conveyancing Executive to manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion. The role requires client-focused service, working with clients, estate agents and lenders to progress transactions efficiently.

You will join a growing team in a supportive environment, with hybrid working after successful probation and a focus on delivering excellent client service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ fee-earning experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Existing relationships with estate agents, brokers or local introducers.
• Experience networking or business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
• Proactively progress matters to achieve smooth and successful transactions.
• Keep clients informed and supported throughout their property journey.
• Deliver a high-quality service while managing deadlines and priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and third parties.
• Act as a reliable and professional point of contact throughout each transaction.
• Proactively resolve issues and ensure an outstanding client experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
• Support Trainees, Paralegals and staff and share knowledge where required.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and the department’s growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
• Support networking and business development initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with introducers and professional contacts.
• Stay up to date with conveyancing sector developments.
• Maintain regulatory and professional obligations compliance.
• Maintain records, time recording and billing.
• Report risks or compliance concerns promptly.
• Protect client and firm information confidentiality.
