Job Title: Conveyancing Business Development Assistant

Salary: £23,000 – £26,000

Location: Redditch area

At Simpson Judge, we are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Secretary to transition into the role of Conveyancing Business Development Assistant.

This position is within a well-established Residential Property Department. It provides essential administrative support to the Business Relationship Manager, assisting with initial client queries related to sales and purchases.

Main Purposes of the Role:

We seek someone with a basic understanding of the sale and purchase process, capable of working independently and prioritising workload. Prior experience in the legal sector is essential for a smooth transition and effective support to the legal team. You will be the first point of contact for clients, providing information and quotes, and supporting the team in converting leads into sales. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and thrive in a customer-focused, sales-driven environment.

Key Tasks:
  1. Act as the first point of contact for clients, addressing queries via phone and providing information.
  2. Complete internal forms and accurately track data.
  3. Provide clients with essential legal service information within the Residential Property Department and follow up to maximise lead conversion.
  4. Offer accurate quotes based on client queries.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, and web queries.
  6. Perform general administrative duties to ensure departmental operations run smoothly.
  7. Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, maintaining a safe working environment.
  8. Maintain high attention to detail in all tasks.
  9. Undertake any other reasonable tasks to support the firm's goals and operations.

Experience within the legal sector is crucial for effective client management and department support, given the specific knowledge of residential property processes required.
