Job summary

Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers in Manchester seeks an Associate Property Lawyer to manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, with support from senior lawyers and managers.

You will draft documents, conduct searches, prepare matters for exchange, and ensure accurate file records while complying with standards. Training toward qualification and ongoing mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• A Law degree or previous experience within the property sector.
• A genuine interest in building a career within residential conveyancing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• A proactive and motivated approach to learning and development.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of case management systems is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, with support from experienced Property Lawyers and Team Managers.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties, providing exceptional service throughout the transaction.
• Drafting legal documentation, conducting searches, preparing matters for exchange and completion, and maintaining accurate file records.
• Completing post-completion activities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications, while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and quality standards at every stage.
