Job summary

Clayton Legal is supporting a well-established Preston-based law firm in appointing an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join the Residential Property team. The role is ideal for someone with at least 12 months' experience in Residential Property, who can work alongside an experienced Fee Earner to progress files from instruction through to post-completion.

You will handle residential sales and purchases, client and third-party correspondence, and contribute to efficient file progression

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience within Residential Property.
• Experience as Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
• Good knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential sales and purchases and correspondence with clients and third parties.
• Prepare and review documentation and progress enquiries.
• Liaise with solicitors and other parties to advance files.
• Support matters through to completion and post-completion.
• Manage workload effectively and work well within a busy team.
