Salary: Up to £26,000 (Dependent on experience)

Position: Residential Conveyancing Assistant

Employment Type: Full-time (Office-based)

About the Firm:

I am representing a highly reputable national law firm based in Bedford, renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional legal services and maintaining a high standard of client care. The firm offers a supportive work environment, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Fee Earners with tasks to ensure smooth conveyancing processes.
  • Maintain diaries, arrange meetings, and handle client correspondence.
  • Attend to clients in person and on the phone, upholding high standards of client care.
  • Create and maintain client records and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Produce client correspondence, bills, and handle confidential information.
  • Manage client files, completion funds, and slips.
  • Order documents from Land Registry, manage search requests, and monitor returns.
  • Ensure payments are made, complete Stamp Duty forms, and record client monies.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in a legal environment, preferably conveyancing support.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal databases and document management systems.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
