Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Conveyancing Assistant – Exciting Opportunity

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with at least two years of experience in conveyancing secretarial work to join this strong team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Typing audio (digital dictation) and producing letters and legal documents accurately
  2. Providing quotations and opening client files
  3. Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and submitting applications for HM Land Registry registration
  4. Downloading and managing documentation from HM Land Registry
  5. Handling telephone calls, providing updates, and taking messages with exceptional client care
  6. Updating and uploading documentation to lender portals efficiently
  7. Managing deadlines through Outlook and maintaining effective diary systems
  8. Photocopying, scanning, and performing general administrative tasks
  9. Covering reception duties during lunch periods
  10. Using case management systems to support the conveyancing team effectively

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years of conveyancing secretarial experience
Fast and accurate typing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities
Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Dedication to delivering exceptional client care and support
