Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a busy Ipswich team, with hybrid working and clear career progression.

You will manage a varied conveyancing caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, transfers of equity, remortgages and new builds, liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors, while providing clear, practical advice from instruction through to completion.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive, or experienced conveyancer.
• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Well organised with ability to manage multiple matters.
• Proactive and commercially minded.
• Experience using case management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage own residential conveyancing caseload end-to-end.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee transfers of equity and remortgages.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice throughout transactions.

My client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their busy Property team in Ipswich, Suffolk.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Transfers of equity
• Remortgages
• New build transactions
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction
• Managing matters from instruction through to completion
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer
