Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting a permanent Conveyancer for a prestigious law firm based in Chelmsford, Essex, to join their property team. You will manage your own caseload, draft contracts, carry out property searches and handle all tasks related to buying and selling property. A background as a Licensed Conveyancer or Fee Earner is required. Hours are 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a thriving Essex practice with strong property transaction activity.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a law firm as a Licensed Conveyancer or Fee Earner.
• Experience handling property transactions and related documentation.
• Ability to manage own caseload and meet deadlines.
• Draft contracts and carry out property searches as part of the conveyancing process.

Responsibilities

• Handle own conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Draft and review contracts and related documents.
• Carry out property searches and enquiries.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents and other parties.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm procedures.

As a conveyancer you will be working on your own caseloads, dealing with the legal and administrative transfer of property ownership when clients buy or sell a home. You will be responsible for drafting contracts, carrying out property searches and all tasks related to the process of buying and selling a property.

For this role you will have worked within a law firm as a Licensed Conveyancer or Fee Earner.
