Job summary

Cressida Consulting is seeking a Controls Engineer for automation and systems integration in the Cheshire/Daresbury area. The role is hybrid with travel to sites across the UK, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will work on the full controls lifecycle, including PLC/HMI development, commissioning, testing and ongoing improvements, collaborating with project engineers, software engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation projects.
• Knowledge of Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide for site phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLC/HMI development for automation systems.
• Commissioning, testing and fault finding on sites.
• FAT, SAT and customer handover activities.
• Provide ongoing system support and improvements.
