Job summary

Cressida Consulting is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer in the Humber region to lead bespoke automation and machine vision projects. You will own projects from concept through to customer acceptance, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and vision engineers to deliver tailored inspection and automation solutions.

Qualifications

Experience with special purpose machinery design and integration.
Experience integrating machine vision and automation across lines.
Background in industrial automation environments.
Familiarity with packaging machinery applications.
Knowledge of robotics in manufacturing contexts.
Proficiency with PLC-based control systems.

Responsibilities

PLC and HMI software development
Motion control and machine automation
Integration of vision inspection systems
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Site commissioning and customer handover
Technical problem solving and software optimisation
Working directly with customers throughout project delivery
Supporting innovation on bespoke automation projects
