Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Bridgwater is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, build, and commission machinery to customer specifications, with hybrid working and on-site presence a few days per week.

You will write code for new build machines from scratch, support commissioning, and perform ongoing fault finding and maintenance. Siemens PLC expertise and motion control knowledge are essential, with offline programming a bonus.

In this role you will be working in a multidisciplinary team to design and build machinery to customer specifications. Your role will include writing code for the new build machines from scratch, supporting with commissioning onsite and, ongoing fault finding and support. The role offers hybrid working, although they would like someone to be able to work from the Bridgwater office a few days a week. If you have knowledge of PLC systems, specifically Siemens Motion Control, the company will offer cross platform and ongoing training to enable you to become an expert in the field and further your career.

This is the perfect role for someone with knowledge of Siemens PLC Software, looking to take the next step in their career, gain further training and have the opportunity to progress in the future.
