Job summary

Germains Seed Technology, part of AB Agri, is seeking a Compliance and Controls Analyst on a fixed-term maternity cover of 14 months. Based in Kings Lynn/Peterborough, you will lead controls improvements and ensure robust financial governance.

You will work with the Finance Director and regional teams to drive continuous improvements, focusing on control processes, ERP enhancements, and cost-saving opportunities. AAT qualification and experience with governance frameworks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial controls and governance frameworks.
• AAT part-qualified or fully qualified.
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls improvement projects, ensuring coordination and consistency across regions.
• Play a key role in controls, monitoring compliance and driving continuous improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and deliver cost savings.
• Analyse and recommend improvements to ERP and financial systems to better support business and control requirements.
• Oversee compliance with reporting frameworks and controls, ensuring key financial processes such as balance sheet reconciliations, reviews, and inventory counts are completed effectively.
