Job summary

AB Agri in the United Kingdom is seeking a Compliance and Controls Analyst on a fixed term maternity cover to strengthen financial governance and controls. You will work with the Finance Director and regional teams to drive improvements and ensure robust processes across the business.

Applicants should have experience with financial controls, be AAT qualified (or part-qualified), and hold at least A-Level standard or equivalent.

• AAT part-qualified or fully qualified.
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls improvement projects, ensuring coordination and consistency across regions.
• Play a key role in controls, monitoring compliance and driving continuous improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and deliver cost savings.
• Analyse and recommend improvements to ERP and financial systems to better support business and control requirements.
• Oversee compliance with reporting frameworks and controls, ensuring key financial processes such as balance sheet reconciliations, reviews, and inventory counts are completed effectively.
