Job summary

Vantage Consulting is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join an established engineering and automation business. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning, across process and manufacturing environments.

You’ll contribute to PLC software development, HMI/SCADA implementation, and hardware integration, delivering real-time control solutions and robust documentation. A strong automation background is essential.

Qualifications

Experienced Controls, Automation or Systems Engineer with full project lifecycle knowledge.
Comfortable developing PLC software and working with HMI/SCADA systems through testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC software from scratch using Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi and Schneider.
Control system software design, development and implementation.
Develop HMI and SCADA applications.
Produce technical design and project documentation.
Industrial Ethernet network design and testing.
Electrical control panel integration and commissioning.
Carry out software and system testing.
Support on-site installation, testing and process commissioning.
Deliver real-time control system solutions from concept through to completion.
