Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking a Control and Automation Engineer in Bournemouth to develop, improve and support control systems across a growing product range. The role combines controls hardware, software development, user-interface design and system integration.

You may come from PLC automation, embedded systems or industrial software. Work includes designing new products, modernising legacy systems, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing control and automation systems for new products
• Developing software applications, HMIs and user interfaces
• Specifying PLCs, motor controllers, control hardware and electronic components
• Integrating controls, software and hardware into complete products
• Working with suppliers and subcontractors on components, firmware and software
• Supporting and troubleshooting existing and legacy control systems
• Contributing to design reviews, project plans and technical documentation
• Working closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Manufacturing teams
• Helping improve engineering processes, documentation and product compliance
• Investigating new technologies, platforms and development tools
