Qualifications

• Experience in road transport, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Understanding of European and UK transport networks and geography.
• Basic customs knowledge or willingness to develop this area.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate road freight shipments from Europe into the UK.
• Track vehicle and shipment movements using transport management systems.
• Identify and resolve potential service disruptions and delays.
• Coordinate import and export movements across UK and EU borders.
• Work with carriers, drivers, transport planners and customs teams.
• Escalate critical operational issues and support recovery plans.
• Maintain real-time transport status updates and records.
• Deliver excellent customer service and OTIF performance.
