Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is assisting a leading UK event lighting and rigging specialist based in Basingstoke. They seek a senior Control Systems Specialist to lead rack builds, interpret client requirements, and ensure the highest quality of control equipment.

You will read complex rack diagrams, supervise the department in the absence of the manager, and ensure safety and presentation standards across all builds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in control systems within live events, AV, or broadcast.
• Ability to read and interpret complex rack diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation of equipment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a senior role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain all control equipment to high standards, ensuring functionality and presentation.
• Interpret client-supplied rack diagrams to deliver accurate rack builds and manage the full build process.
• Implement professional cable dressing and labeling, documenting completed builds clearly.
• Take on supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Department Manager, managing daily operations.
• Perform regular safety checks and maintain compliance with health and safety policies.
