Job summary

Encore Global in the UK is seeking a Rigging Systems Designer to design safe, compliant event technology systems across Audio, Lighting, Rigging and Video. The role is office-based with occasional site visits to support operations and client needs.

The successful candidate will specialize in one discipline and join a team of four designers, reporting to the Technical Manager. Strong CAD skills and on-site experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing event technology systems with safe, compliant practices.
• Experience using Vectorworks and ConnectCAD for drawings and documentation.
• Experience in CAD software and office tools, including MS 365.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project needs and create safe, functional designs aligned to Encore standards.
• Create detailed drawings, schematics, renderings, BOMs and scopes using CAD tools.
• Provide consultative technical expertise to align designs with budgets and inventory.
• Maintain high standards of design, planning and kit allocation across the team.
• Identify skills for delivery and support Labour Resource managers on staffing.
