Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the Rolls-Royce SMR project in Warrington. You will manage distributed control and safety instrumented systems, designing, configuring and developing advanced control solutions for a global OEM at the heart of industrial automation.

This senior role involves overseeing projects from concept to commissioning, client liaison, offshore site visits, and a hybrid 2-3 day office pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering DCS/SIS projects from concept to commissioning.
• Able to manage client relationships and oversee multi-site projects.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
• Configuring, Programming and Commissioning DCS & SIS.
• Being the main point of contact for clients, collaborators and stakeholders.
• Hybrid working from a Warrington based office (2-3 days per week).
• 9 day working fortnight - every other Friday off.
• Visiting client sites in the UK and off-shore.
