Position: Control Systems Engineer and Project Managers
Location: Yorkshire, East Midlands, United Kingdom
We are currently seeking experienced Automation Engineers to manage digital manufacturing and automation projects. Applicants with Siemens, Rockwell, and AVEVA (Wonderware) experience are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time staff position based in our office, offering an excellent salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities/ Duties
- Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers delivering projects to customer sites.
- Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans.
- Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through automation and data analytics technology.
- Providing technical and operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, and Facilities departments.
- Coordinating and supporting project commissioning activities.
- Mentoring and training junior engineers.
- Researching new technologies and trends in Industrial Automation and liaising with senior management on digital manufacturing/automation business strategy.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
- At least 3+ years of experience as a digital manufacturing/automation engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with control networks and communication systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring is desirable.
- Experience working with validated digital manufacturing/automation systems in the pharmaceutical or food & beverage manufacturing environment.
