We're working with a UK-based specialist engineering firm seeking a driven and motivated Technical Sales Manager. The role can be field-based in Northern UK.
Role Overview
You will maintain and secure new business across Scotland and Northern UK, focusing on high-growth sectors such as chemical, pharma, scientific, and energy. Engineering experience in any market is considered, along with the ability to learn new skills.
You should have experience in proposal writing, client visits, and confidently selling to senior management and technical decision-makers. While a significant part of your role will involve managing existing accounts, you will also focus on acquiring new business. A strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills are essential to grasp client needs and build relationships.
This is a home-based role requiring a driver’s license and at least 4 years of experience in engineering/technical sales. A degree is not necessary; applications from candidates with varying experience levels are encouraged, especially those seeking a home-based opportunity.
