Job Description:

We are seeking a Control & Simulation Engineer based in Liverpool to join our team. The role involves developing control software and physical models for automotive applications, including hybrid and electric powertrains. Responsibilities include maintaining HIL test systems, automating test cases, participating in system testing, and developing innovative model-based solutions.

• Develop and validate control software and physical models for vehicles.
• Maintain and automate HIL test systems.
• Participate in testing and validation of control hardware and software.
• Specify test cases based on system requirements and robustness analysis.
• Innovate in model-based control development for hybrid/electric powertrains.
• Manage versions and document models and results.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in model development, SIL/MIL/HIL testing, and application.
• Understanding of vehicle and powertrain control systems.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink, engine management systems, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with debugging C code and HIL automatic testing.
• Motorsport experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English required, German is a plus.
• Flexible working approach, motivated, and team-oriented.
