Job Description:

We are seeking a Control & Simulation Engineer to join our team in Warrington, Cheshire. The role involves:

• Developing and validating control software and physical models for automotive applications.
• Maintaining and developing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems, including software calibration and automation of test cases.
• Participating in system testing and specifying test cases based on system requirements and robustness analysis.
• Innovating in model-based development for hybrid and alternative propulsion powertrains.
• Managing version control and documenting models and results.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in model development, SIL/MIL/HIL testing, and application.
• Good understanding of automotive control systems, including ICE and hybrid powertrains.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink, engine management systems, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with debugging C code and HIL automatic testing (e.g., SimulinkRT).
• Motorsport experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
• Flexible and capable of managing tasks independently and within a team environment.
