Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Operations Control Room Officer in NN17 5AN to monitor security operations, coordinate responses, and ensure clear communication between field teams and clients. The role requires handling incidents, logging activities, and maintaining compliance during 12‑hour shifts.

The candidate should have prior control room experience, excellent communication and multitasking abilities, and a valid SIA licence. Knowledge of Glasgow and surrounding areas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room or operations environment (Preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and security software.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
• A valid SIA Licence (Essential).

About The Role:

Days of Working: 4 on 4 off (06:00am - 18:00pm)

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Operations Control Room Officer to join our team. This critical role involves monitoring security operations, coordinating responses, and ensuring seamless communication between field teams and clients

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate responses to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Maintain clear communication with mobile response teams, site officers, and clients.
• Log incidents, activities, and shift updates accurately in the control room systems.
• Ensure compliance with operational protocols and procedures.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding site activities and incidents.
• Act as the central point of contact for all security operations during your shift.
