Job summary

Northern Security Ltd is seeking a proactive Control and Scheduling Manager to own our central monitoring and control function. This leadership role ensures safe operations, coordinates workforce for the control room, and drives continuous improvement across the site.

You will lead a team of control room operators, manage 24/7 coverage, optimise rosters for 200+ officers, and implement robust procedures for incidents, training, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in high-pressure situations.
• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing complex rotas and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Control Room operators to maintain high performance standards.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, including incidents and staffing gaps.
• Ensure effective 24/7 Control Room coverage and operational continuity.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, including liaison with emergency services where required.
• Manage and optimise rotas for 200+ security officers, working towards structured and efficient scheduling.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and emergency response processes.
