Job summary

Selwood Ltd in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist on a 6–8 month fixed-term contract. You will manage administration, negotiation and governance of contracts and supplier agreements to align with business needs.

You’ll identify contractual risk, support compliance, and liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure terms are clear and enforceable. Working knowledge of NEC contracts and standard forms is preferred, with a focus on commercial efficiency.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of standard form and bespoke contracts within the Construction or allied industries is highly advantageous.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Standard form contract administration
• Administration of standard form and bespoke contracts during receipt, negotiation, delivery and completion phases
• Support Sales & Solutions resources evaluate contract strategies at the point of enquiry
• Contract review, general assessment and risk evaluation
• Contract negotiation and sign off
• Identification, communication and management of contract mechanisms
• Provision of business support for commercial activities
