Job summary

Henley Chase in Hull is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead shopfitting and retail fit-out projects across the UK, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage multiple live projects, coordinate clients, site managers, subcontractors and suppliers, and drive planning, cost control and safety compliance while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in shopfitting or retail fit-out.
• Strong project management, budgeting and scheduling skills.
• Experience with fast-track retail refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple shopfitting and interior fit-out projects simultaneously.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in shopfitting and retail fit-out projects to join our growing team based in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and hands-on professional who can oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage nationwide retail and commercial fit-out projects, working closely with clients, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple shopfitting and interior fit-out projects simultaneously
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation

Requirements

• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence
