Job summary

Henley Chase in Hull is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple shopfitting and retail fit-out projects from pre-start through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, PM and leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams across the UK. A full UK driving licence is essential.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in shopfitting/retail fit-out.
• Experience managing fast-track retail refurbishment projects.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple live UK-wide projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget control experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple shopfitting and interior fit-out projects simultaneously
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with H&S regulations
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
• Support procurement and cost control activities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the shopfitting or retail fit-out sector
