Job summary

We are seeking a Contract Manager at Mears Group PLC in Evesham to lead the responsive repairs service for social housing properties. You will oversee operational and commercial performance, support supervisors and teams, and ensure safe, high-quality repairs that meet client expectations and residents' needs.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of responsive works, KPI ownership, Out of Hours coverage, and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a responsive repairs contract within social housing.
• Experience with budget management, performance reporting and people management.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and social housing repairs.
• Full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and commercial delivery for responsive works.
• Oversee Out of Hours and KPI performance.
• Ensure health and safety and compliance with regulations.
• Line manage supervisors and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain resident-focused service levels and handling client queries.
• Act as designated key holder.
