Job summary

Deanston Cooper is recruiting a Contracts Manager to lead multiple civil engineering projects across Glasgow. You will report to the Director and oversee projects from initiation to handover, ensuring time and budget constraints are met.

You will supervise Site Agents, Site Managers and Project Managers, implement client specifications, prepare progress and technical reports, and handle contractual matters on site. This role demands initiative and a track record in civils.

Qualifications

• Strong contract administration and client-facing reporting.
• On-site supervision of multiple site roles and safety compliance.

Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to work for a highly successful and extremely busy civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects across the Central Belt including infrastructure, water and energy.

Ensuring that these projects are brought in on time and in budget, your duties as Contracts Manager include:

• Undertaking regular formal inspections of sites
• Managing and overseeing all aspects of project works
• Supervising Site Agents, Site Managers and Project Managers as required
• Implementing project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards.
• Preparing progress reports and technical reports for clients and for internal use

• Ensuring Health and Safety processes and procedures are adhered to on site
