Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to head up a newly won cladding and fire re‑mediation contract in London. The role focuses on delivering fire safety and recladding schemes across residential and commercial properties within social housing, ensuring budgets, timelines, and quality are met.

You will manage a team including site management, supervisors, RLOs and subcontractors, with direct reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Extensive building knowledge with experience in re-cladding and retrofit contracts.
• Experience managing multiple site teams and strategically planning projects.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Knowledge of BS R and Building Safety Act.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Fire Safety & Re-cladding schemes in London, ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
• Ensure service levels and quality are maintained; develop CPP and programming of works; control costs.
• Implement strong Health & Safety across all projects.
• Lead site management, Supervisors, RLOs and subcontractors; report to Operations Manager.
• Build strong relationships with client and team to achieve targets on the contract.
