Job summary

Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager to join a London-based project portfolio in the social housing and education sectors. The role focuses on managing cladding, façade and remediation works with emphasis on fire safety compliance and strong client relationships.

The role requires overseeing site teams, monitoring programmes, budgets and health and safety, with a salary of £80k–£90k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the cladding, façade, remediation, or fire safety sector.
• Strong understanding of fire safety remediation works, building regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Experience managing site teams and reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project programmes, budgets, quality standards and health and safety compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify, manage and report project risks and commercial performance to senior management.
• Lead and supervise site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join one of our well-established clients in London.Our client delivers a wide range of construction and maintenance services throughout the social housing and education sectors.With an established reputation for quality and reliability, they manage projects ranging from refurbishment and remediation works to planned maintenance and asset improvement programmesProject Location: Southwark, LondonDuration: Full Time, PAYEMonday - FridaySalary - £80K-£90K (depending upon experience)Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the cladding, façade, remediation, or fire safety sector.
• Strong understanding of fire safety remediation works, building regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Experience managing site teams.
• Ability to monitor project programmes, budgets, quality standards, and health and safety compliance.
• Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, manage, and report project risks, programme updates, and commercial performance to senior management.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
• Valid CSCS Management Card (Essential).
• SMSTS / First Aid (Essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
