Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Estimating Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial glazing and architectural glass projects in the West Midlands.

You will manage contracts from award through to completion, monitoring commercial performance, programme, client relationships, and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, to specification, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a Contracts Manager/Estimating Manager in construction or glazing projects.
• Strong ability to manage commercial performance, budgets, valuations, and final accounts.
• Excellent stakeholder management with clients, main contractors, suppliers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial glazing projects from contract award through to completion.
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality, and commercial performance.
• Liaise closely with main contractors, clients, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and project requirements.
• Manage variations, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs, margins, labour, materials, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure materials are available in line with project programmes.
• Work closely with estimators, project managers, site managers, and installation teams.
• Attend client and site meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Manage project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Oversee subcontractors and installation teams to ensure work is completed to the required standards.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant health & safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Resolve project issues and disputes quickly and effectively.
• Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, and commercial records are maintained.
