Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment seeks a project lead in Andover with strong knowledge of PVCu, timber and aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling and glazing works. You will read CAD drawings, manage mobilisation through installation, and ensure plans are resourced and delivered effectively.

Responsibilities include coordinating installation teams (4–6 live projects), programming works, maintaining health & safety, quality and snagging, and reporting progress to clients and end users.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PVCu, timber and aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling and associated glazing works.
• Ability to read detailed CAD drawings.
• Experience managing projects from mobilisation through installation to completion.
• Experience planning, resourcing and delivering works effectively.
• Ability to coordinate installation teams and labour requirements.
• Experience programming of works.
• Oversee health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Monitor quality and manage snagging activities.
• Provide practical and commercial input to site and project issues.
• Lead installation teams on 4–6 live projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and end users to resolve issues and keep progress on track.
• Keep projects within budgets and build programs.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with full reporting procedures.

• Making sure and ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered effectively.
• Coordinate installation teams and labour requirements.
• Programming of works.
• Oversee health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Keeping on top of quality and snagging activities.
• Provide practical and commercial input to site and project issues.
• Lead and support installation teams of up to staff 4-6 live projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the client and all end users to resolve possible issues and maintain progress.
• Keeping projects within specified budgets and build programs.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with full reporting procedures.
