Job summary

NRL on behalf of a client seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple highways and civil‑engineering projects, leading project teams and ensuring budget, safety, and programme performance.

You will manage client relationships with public-sector stakeholders, take part in contract discussions, and contribute to tenders and work-winning activities across a region requiring travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager or senior project lead.
• Background in highways or major civil-engineering delivery.
• Track record leading multiple projects or significant packages.
• Strong leadership overseeing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Full accountability for budget, health and safety and client relationships.
• Familiar with contract discussions and tender processes.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the region.

Location and Working PatternTravel across Bristol and Gloucester to oversee projects.Client office is in Exeter.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple highways and civil-engineering projects at any one time.

Must-have Requirements
