Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a growing construction business where you'll have genuine responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to directly influence project success?
Our client is an ambitious and expanding contractor with a turnover of approximately £13 million and plans to continue growing significantly over the coming years. Due to a strong pipeline of new and repeat business, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support multiple projects across the North West and wider UK.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects rather than working within a heavily corporate structure.
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of live projects, typically managing 3-4 schemes at any one time.
You'll be responsible for coordinating trades, suppliers, site teams, and subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to programme.
Unlike larger organisations, this role offers significant freedom and responsibility, making it perfect for someone who can work independently and manage their own workload.
Projects are typically valued up to £300,000, with larger projects managed by the company's dedicated Quantity Surveying team.
You will be:
This role is best suited to an experienced Contracts Manager rather than a Quantity Surveyor looking to move into operations.
Salary of £45,000 - £60,000
Car Allowance
25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
Company Pension
Significant Autonomy and Responsibility
Strong Pipeline of Secured Work
Growing Business with Genuine Career Opportunities
Profit-Share Bonus Scheme
In addition to basic salary, the company operates a profitability-based bonus scheme. Once profitability exceeds agreed thresholds, the successful candidate receives a share of profits, typically adding an additional £20,000 - £40,000 per year to overall earnings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager who wants to move away from a corporate environment and join a business where their contribution genuinely matters.
You'll be trusted to manage your own projects, build strong relationships, and play a key role in the company’s continued growth while benefiting from a highly attractive bonus structure and real earning potential.
If you're an ambitious Contracts Manager looking for autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to earn well beyond your basic salary, we'd love to hear from you.
