Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd is working with an established housing developer to appoint a Contracts Manager to oversee 3-4 live housing sites across the Midlands from Nottingham (NG1 7AR).

You will manage safety, programme and quality while helping shape the construction division and pursuing a Head of Construction path within 18 months; salary up to £80,000 plus car allowance and private pension.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Contracts Manager.
• Experience working for a small to medium housing developer.
• Strong background in new-build housing.

The Opportunity

We are working with an established housing developer specialising in new-build social housing through partnerships, who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing construction division.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing individual projects. You will oversee 3-4 live housing sites across the Midlands while playing a key role in heading up and developing the wider construction division.

For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Head of Construction position within 18 months, with a longer-term pathway towards Construction Director.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple live developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will also have the opportunity to take a more strategic role within the business, working closely with senior management and helping shape the future of the construction division.
