Job summary

idverde is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a large NI portfolio, ensuring contracts meet performance, safety, and financial targets. The role will be based at the Templepatrick depot, with occasional travel to client sites across Northern Ireland.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contracts management (grounds maintenance preferred), strong budgeting, KPI delivery, and excellent people management. A full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a Contracts Manager or adjacent position (strong preference for Grounds Maintenance).
  • Experience delivering a large number of contracts and their specifications.
  • Strong experience in scheduling and planning PPM cycles to meet client specs and SLAs.
  • Commercial financial knowledge and budgeting to meet KPIs.
  • Strong people management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • IT proficient and able to use portals; training available.
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Contracts Manager
Location: Templepatrick, Northern Ireland
Salary: Competitive (can be discussed at next stage of application)
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 8:00-17:00 however flexibility may be required due to business requirements

About the role

We currently require a Contracts Manager to manage the day to day running of the contracts in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate would be looking after a large portfolio of our public sector contracts and delivering them to an industry-wide standard, encompassing contract performance, delivery of contract objectives, client relationships, people management, health & safety compliance and financial performance.

The role will be based out of our Templepatrick depot but some days you will be expected to travel to client sites around Northern Ireland.

Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a Contracts Manager or adjacent position (strong preference for experience to be within Grounds Maintenance).
  • Experience with handling the delivery of a large number of contracts and their specifications.
  • Strong experience in scheduling and planning PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) cycles, ensuring all works are delivered in line with client specifications, contractual requirements, and agreed service levels.
  • Commercial financial knowledge and experience in mapping out budgets and meeting client KPIs.
  • Strong people management skills in engaging with employees internally and clients externally.
  • IT proficient - experience with Microsoft Office and internal portals (training will be provided on the latter).
  • A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
