Contracts Manager

Programme Name: LCST

Location: Bristol based

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager who will work alongside the Senior Commercial Manager and Head of Contracts. The role involves assisting with contract execution duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Contracts Manager and Head of Contracts with contractual administration tasks
  • Prepare NDAs and maintain register
  • Assist with administration of compliance with all terms and conditions and supporting schedules of customer contracts
  • Prepare and negotiate contract change proposals
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, and other project documents
  • Process purchase orders
  • Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists
  • Work with stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Assist supply chain in developing specifications for equipment, materials, and services
  • Administer contract performance including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance
  • Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with the customer commercial/contracts team and with Team Leidos members
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; strong experience as a contracts or commercial officer
  • Experience with large programmes/contracts with complex business models
  • Experience in contract administration and negotiations
  • Hands-on team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status
  • Knowledge of MOD contracting is preferred
Skills Desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Experience managing contracts with UK Government or MOD
Clearance Requirements
  • Pre-Screening: BPSS
  • SC clearance required
