Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Contracts Administrator for the Grid & Digital Solutions department, EGL1 Project, based in Murton. The role involves managing subcontractor and supplier contracts, documentation, and records across a major energy infrastructure program.

You will support commercial and project teams, ensure compliance with processes, and coordinate with procurement, finance, and project groups to maintain timely contract information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Contracts/Commercial/Project Administration or similar role.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, power transmission, or engineering projects.
• Understanding of contract administration and commercial processes.
• NEC contracts knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Support preparation, review, and issuance of contractual documents.
• Maintain contract registers, change logs, and project records.
• Track contract variations, notices, and compensation events.
• Coordinate contractual correspondence between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project procedures and company standards.
• Support Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors with contract administration activities.
• Assist with subcontractor onboarding, documentation and compliance checks.
• Maintain records of insurances, warranties and contractual deliverables.
• Prepare contract-related reports and update project management teams.
• Support audits and document control activities as required.
