Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in London is seeking a Contract Administrator to join the M Renewables Division and support contractual and commercial administration across renewable energy projects.

The role involves preparing and reviewing contracts, subcontracts and change orders, coordinating with Project Managers, Commercial, Estimating and Legal teams, and tracking milestones and deadlines. Strong knowledge of FIDIC and energy contracts is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in contract administration or related discipline in construction, infrastructure or renewables.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts and project delivery methods.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts.
• Familiarity with renewable energy and solar project contracts (PPA, EPC, interconnection).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills across project, commercial, legal and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, reviewing and administering contracts, subcontracts, change orders and related correspondence.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Commercial, Estimating, Procurement and Legal teams.
• Monitoring contract milestones, notices, approvals and deadlines.
• Maintaining contract registers and records across the project lifecycle.
• Assisting with variations, extensions of time, claims and other contractual matters.
• Supporting claims and dispute resolution with required documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with insurance, licensing, bonding and project obligations.
• Supporting tender and bid processes and risk assessments.
• Reviewing terms and conditions and advising internal stakeholders on key risks.
• Coordinating with internal/external stakeholders to follow contractual actions across multiple projects.
• Managing multiple contracts, priorities and deadlines in a proactive, international environment.
