Job summary
A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its contractor-side commercial division in Chesterfield. The role focuses on government refurbishment and building fabric schemes across the region, with regular site visits and hybrid working.
You will manage project costs, produce valuations and variations, and support procurement while collaborating with a large, experienced team.
Qualifications
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor from a main contracting or contractor-side background.
- Experience of valuations, variations, cost reporting and procurement support.
- Solid understanding of commercial delivery on main contracting projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage project costs and commercial performance
- Prepare and assess valuations and variations
- Produce cost reports and commercial updates
- Support procurement and subcontractor packages
- Monitor budgets, costs and commercial risk
- Attend sites and client meetings as required
- Work closely with project teams and contractor clients
