Job summary

Applica is seeking an Operations & Services Manager to own and continually enhance the contractor and broader services function. You will streamline onboarding, mobilisation, visas, and compliance while coordinating with Recruitment, Account Management, Finance and clients to ensure smooth contractor delivery and risk management.

Based in Manchester with hybrid work, you will drive process improvements, scale services and deliver an excellent client/contractor experience across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in contractor onboarding, mobilisation or contractor services.
• Experience with processes and systems that support a variety of workforce solutions.
• Experience creating or improving operational processes and workflows.
• Good understanding of compliance and international contractor mobilisation.
• Experience managing travel, visas or international assignments would be highly desirable.
• Knowledge of RPO, MSP and similar workforce solutions would be desirable.
• Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor lifecycle from offer to completion, ensuring onboarding, compliance, mobilisation and offboarding are on time.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation and pre-assignment requirements for mobilisation.
• Oversee visa and immigration processes with external providers; coordinate medicals and assignment prerequisites.
• Serve as key client contact for onboarding, extensions and queries, and support account managers.
• Monitor and improve onboarding, offboarding and compliance processes; manage regulatory changes.
• Lead development of contractor onboarding, mobilisation and offboarding processes; drive platform adoption.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Finance, and People & Culture; provide leadership with operational insight.
