Job summary

Evodia Limited is seeking a WINTEL Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure within a secure, regulated environment. The role focuses on enterprise Windows Server platforms, AD/Policy management, and SQL/Exchange services, with a strong emphasis on automation and documentation.

The position requires active SC clearance and a proactive approach to incident resolution, patching, and lifecycle management, in a Corsham-based, mostly onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Windows Server environments (2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) in secure settings.
• Proven expertise managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and MS enterprise services such as PKI, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and SQL.
• Extensive experience supporting Windows environments within virtualised platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong scripting and automation using PowerShell.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Understanding of ITIL service management principles.
• Active SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server platforms across large enterprise settings.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, DNS, DHCP, PKI, WSUS.
• Support Windows environments in virtualised infrastructures (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Perform patching, backups, restores, and troubleshooting.
• Create design artefacts, build guides, and operational procedures.
• Support system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with service management to investigate incidents and optimise delivery.
• Contribute to automation and standardisation initiatives.
