Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Wintel Engineer to support the OpNET programme from Corsham. The role involves Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and enterprise services across virtualised environments.

The candidate must hold SC clearance or be eligible. The position is onsite three days a week, with a daily rate of £725 via umbrella, and longer-term security-focused delivery on the programme.

Qualifications

• Enterprise Windows Server administration experience.
• Active Directory deployment and management in secure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft enterprise services (PKI, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SQL, WSUS).
• Virtualised Windows environments and patching/backup.
• PowerShell automation capabilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL and service management.
• SC clearance or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server OS across enterprise environments.
• Deploy and support Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, WSUS, PKI, and related services.
• Administer Windows in virtualised infrastructure and monitor health.
• Perform patching, backup, and restore to ensure availability.
• Support system integration, testing, and incident resolution.
• Produce design docs, build guides, and runbooks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of WINTEL services.
• Work to programme timelines, standards, and security requirements.
